Descendents - High-End PST Raiding Guild on Saryrn

Postby Finista » Wed Jan 24, 2007 3:03 pm

Descendents is always interested in adding talented, dedicated players to our roster.

Current class desirability:
High Priority - Berserker, Cleric, Druid, Wizard, Rogue
Medium Priority - all other classes
Low Priority - Monk, Ranger, Warrior, Shadowknight, Paladin

We are a high-end PST raiding guild on the Saryrn Everquest server. Our current raid targets include TSS and Deathknell.

The key things we expect from our guildmates are maturity, team spirit, the drive to succeed, promptness, attentiveness and the ability to play within our scheduled raid times.

Our scheduled raid times are Tuesday 7-11pm PST, Thursday 7-11pm PST, and Sunday 6-11pm PST. These times were chosen to enable people on the West Coast with day jobs and active lives to participate. We raid fewer days per week than other EQ raiding guilds at our level, so regular attendance is absolutely vital to our success.

If you cannot participate in all of our events in their entirety, Descendents is not for you.

Current requirements for joining are: Level 75 with 500 or more TOTAL AA points. (Note: typical applicants have more than 500 AA, and the current average for members exceeds 1000 AA.) Applicants are also expected to be keyed/flagged for Dreadspire and Theater of Blood.

Please recognize that Descendents is highly selective, and we take the application and temp process very seriously. The quality and legibility of an application, responses to questions on the application and conduct during the temp period carry great weight. Our continuing goal is to experience and enjoy the end game of Everquest with people who will make it worthwhile.

Ultimately this is a guild for active, highly skilled players, and our recruiting decisions will be made with the intention of enhancing our team's ability to win the battles we choose to fight. If this sounds like fun, please fill out an application at http://www.descendents.org or contact Finista via PM or in game with any questions.

Maybe they pwn so much that it only takes 4 hours to kill a day's worth of content.

Actually if they're raiding Deathknell (PoR endzone), they're doing pretty well for themselves.

But yeah, pretty picky criteria to demand of someone paying $50 to xfer over. :P

If someone has 800-1200 AAs, Dreadspire and Theatre of Blood flags, and shows up to every raid - they can just join Silent Resurgence or PoN. D:

3 days a week sounds pretty darn good now that I'm out of my unlimited playtime / lifer (as Lyion puts it) stage of life.

If you can guarentee people online for those 3 days and be able to plan what you're going to do rather than wait to see who logs in on any given day and have to adjust your targets from there, you can probably get just as much done as far as progressing.

Single group content gives almost just as good items as raiding old targets to farm so you don't have to worry about doing that on off days.

I'd love to get caught up with a guild in Vanguard that does 3 days a week about 6 months from now =D
