Android Games?

Postby 10sun » Sat Feb 06, 2010 1:08 am

My Motorola Droid arrives on Monday... anybody have any recommendations?

Going to root it and enable some features that aren't available out of the box (most important tethering) & get Quake running on it.

Anybody have any big suggestions beyond that?

I tried taping my phone to my Game Gear so I could just carry around one thing; turns out I couldn't fit it into my pocket after doing that and changing the batteries was a bitch =(

I just get games out of the market app. The market application on it is pretty user friendly. I don't have anything fancy though; I think I have like, Jewels and a solitaire installed. On the Eris is a fun game called Bonsai Blast but I don't think it's available for droid yet/anymore. Maybe those aren't the kinds of games you're interested in though, sorry.

i'm finding some of the lame time wasters pretty entertaining on my ipod (i'm sure since 99% of all the ipod/iphone games are clones of other existing games, that some "developer" has shamelessly copied the iphone games for android)

there's a plethora of fun tower defense games and paper toss is always good for 5 mins

ravensword's a cool sandbox-style game for the pod tikker.

also i have myst. which makes perfect sense on the touch

and jelly car, katamari, dark nebula, and real racing have been a lot of fun. i think jelly car and dark nebula are free

i have no idea if any of those are on droid tho
