Awesome so far. I am surprised no one has posted about it yet. Anyone else get it?

I saw that in my gamer mag. and thought it was a good looking game with IMO a great new approach. This is just a spam post tho :p

Red Dead Revolver was pretty much awesome. This is the long awaited sequel.

and they totally changed it to make it like GTA

btw adam, did you make my EQ account get 7 years of vet rewards or did they make it so account age equals actual account age and not just the months you were paying for it?

Playing this now for the first time. It's really awesome. I'm not crazy about GTA, but I think the setting here lends itself better to the way Rockstar tells stories. The game is costing me about 1 hour of sleep a night.

I really liked RDR too, and was very caught up in the storyline.

Unfortunately, after playing a certain amount of the way through the story, I was jarred out of it. Being continuously attacked and killed by bears got frustrating, but the proverbial straw was when a man rushed up to me soliciting my aid to save his wife - while I was being attacked by bears.

I haven't played it since then, though descriptions of the ending have been so overwhelmingly positive that I was thinking about returning to it just to experience the ending for myself (I have a vague idea of the ending from others who've finished it).

Speaking of Rockstar, I've been curious about 'L.A. Noire' (the trailer reminds me of the movie 'L.A. Confidential', which I highly enjoyed). Has anyone tried it?
