Bunch of the old timer LOS folks have been playing this a lot. Genjiro's been the evangelist, mainly, but a lot have been in beta. I know some are planning on playing on release. Me, I have no major interest. Hell, I haven't even been playing WOW lately. I think the last time I logged in was more than a week ago.

I got burned out on healing Cata on my paladin, wasn't fun anymore dealing with people who can't avoid simple mechanics, i don't think I've logged on to WOW in a month.

If people going to play on release we should coordinate so we on same server/side, i wont be hardcore tho, just few hours at night, or I get wife aggro. I'm on Bryn..something on Beta and don't think i'm gonna re-roll just for beta.

Been playing Cataclysm since from all accounts, it's actually *GASP* difficult. WoTLK is a fucking joke. zzzzzzzz

I'm enjoying it. (RL friends sucked me back in, and I'm really enjoying it this time around.)

I'm also raiding end-game p1999 again.

I just was bored of Cata. It was fun, but really more of the same.

I'm enjoying Rift, and have played in 3 betas so far. I'll reserve judgement until I've played a good solid month, though. I thought AOC was great too, until I left Tortage....

I've canceled my WoW account and pre-ordered Rift, i think i'm going to play Bard at release on Defiant side. Lyion we should start on same server since we both is same timezone. If anyone else up for it lets all pick a release server.

Yep only alpha testers playing now, Tuesday we all get to log on. I like Defiant starting zones more so i play them but in the live it wont matter, i'll go where everyone wants.

You can use this http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html to try and figure out what combo you may want to play. You get 1 soul at start, second soul after about 5 noob quests at lvl 2 and 3rd at end of noob area around lvl 5-6. Once you get over lvl 10 and find your capitol city you can do quests to get remaining 5 souls of your class, and save up to 4 builds that you can swap with press of button(2 sec cast time). You can also reset points in souls at trainer for marginal cost.

I'm one of those dirty casual players now, but I'd like to check out both sides. If we get a group, I'll be glad to play any role. The setup is interesting, and I'm curious how varied things will be at 50 with the different class combinations.

I'm still not sure if this game is that good or vaporware, but I guess we'll find out in March.

I was interested in the Fippy Darkpaw server deal, but after logging into EQ for 15 minutes I realized I have no desire to do that game anymore.

Ganzo, drop me a line if you want to play together. My few other old IM MMO buddies are all in even more casual mode than I am.

I've made it to 20 on both sides, and I'm enjoying the game. I'm not sure how long term it'll be but it's fun so far.

Ganzo and I are preordered and doing headstart. Honestly, I don't know if I'll be playing two months from now. All I know is I'm having a blast in beta and looking forward to some fresh MMO fun.

I'm hoping the endgame is better than the AOC travesty was.

Ive been playing around with Rogue calling, tried mixes of all 8 souls. For solo leveling Marksman with spare points in Ranger is amazing, it's WoW hunter on steroids. Bard kicks ass in group but very slow for soloing, but nothing can kill you ether, just add Nightblade as your secondary. Tried Nightblade as main, its super fun and one of the best for solo PVP, great set of stealth openers, combo builders, dots and finishers in melee or at range.

Anyway probably will take Rogue for release I've tried clerics fighters and mages but didn't like them as much.
