The lack of keyboard and mouse is the only thing holding back the console.

There is no logical reason to block native support for them.

Racing Games, Adventure Games, and Sports games rock on consoles. I even use my 360 controller on my PC when I play those sort of games.

FPS, RPG, and MMO games are far better on my PC with a keyboard and a mouse. Especially MMOs that I play in Windows mode, or with my 2 24" monitors with browser and other goodies up at the same time.

It's pretty easy to hook a PC up to a big screen TV, too. However, I have no desire to do that when I have a massive high res IPS monitor in my office that I can game on in my comfy chair.

Consoles will eventually replace PCs, but they need to evolve more I think.

p.s. Harri, you can plug a keyboard and mouse into ones PS3. It has native support. I'm not sure if the games do, but the console does.

Kinda hard to kick back on the couch and balance a keyboard and mouse contraption on your lap. I trade a lack of precision for comfort and ease of use. I have a 27" monitor and a decent PC that I play a game on now and then but I associate my computer, keyboard and mouse, with work. If I'm in my office, I'm working, if I'm downstairs on the couch, I'm playing. I enjoy that separation.

The games don't. That's the important part.

My office seconds as my man cave with a 42" TV on the wall, surround sound big sony speakers and my Media Center server. I have a killer recliner work chair, and a nice leather love site, too. I also spend a lot of time in my office babysitting databases or waiting for nasty code to compile which gives me time to fire up my PC and play Civ 5, Plants vs Zombies, Oblivion, etc....

My living room has my 60" TV, PS3, wii, extender, and apple TV. I generally hang out more there when I'm not working. When I'm all alone though, I'm generally in my office.

Er, Love Seat!

Back to SW:TOR.. Rumor is it's coming out in November.. I was hoping it'd come out in December so I'd have a good month of Skyrim. Still holding out of hope for that.

Huh? Ico/SotC is the only exclusive. I own both consoles but the 360 gets WAY more game play.

I figured since Demon Souls was an exclusive so would Dark Souls. Just pointing it out since you said you'd never play your PS3 again after the blunder of "not a single person losing anything and getting a bunch of free stuff".

Preordered for both the wife and I. (=

I loved EQ and the challenge of getting the things you wanted but I like most people cannot invest another 40 hours a week into a single game. ;)

Nothing special so far except maybe the voice acting and soundtrack.

Gameplay is smooth and graphics are sub-par for this day and age.

I'm not too impressed so far.

Yeah, I agree. Nothing ground breaking, but I will say that playing a bounty hunter (which is all I have tried so far), i feel like the dark side choices are truly dark.

Am I the only preorder fool not invited to beta yet?

Not a huge deal, but several friends who did not buy the game have played a lotta beta. It's almost making me want to cancel my preorder, which is 80 bucks saved....

Who all is playing.. Worth buying at release?

I pre-ordered and am not in the Beta either. Hell, I pre-ordered the Collector's edition.

I haven't pre-ordered yet but I did just finish doing weekend beta. I'll probably pre-order next week.

I was invited to do a weekend beta server load test. I installed the game but never played it. Too busy with Skyrim.
