Steam Winter sale winners you've found, or just good games.

Defender's Quest: Valley of the Forgotten

It's a cross between an oldschool turn based RPG, in real time, and tower defense. It's easily the best $5 I've ever spent on a game (sale price until the 5th)

The Binding of Isaac

This game is hard as fuck. It's like Zelda(NES) in a bullet hell sort of mode. It's creepy and weird, and doesn't tell you much about what things do, but you can figure it out. (Or look at the wiki...)

I'll add more as I get time to try out the other great games on sale.

I just nabbed Torchlight II. I enjoyed the first one. Ping me if anyone wants to do co-op.

Legend of Grimrock is like a Dungeon Master throwback. I love it so far. (And a dungeon editor!)

The spider area in Grimrock caused me much pain.

I'm there now. I have anti poison potions up the butt for this part.

They're so fucking annoying. I kite them to a door and then fight them there (like most things)

Fight fight fight, shut the door, rest until healed, open door, fight fight fight

Win.

Baldur's Gate 1 including the sword coast expansion is an ipad app as well ($9.99). Being a BG fanatic i had to buy it and it plays really well.

Originally they were going to role BG1 and 2 together into one massive game, clean up the graphics and add a bit of content. They decided to split it so I'm not too pleased about that. Will likely wait for a sale when they're both out. it would be nice if they did the same for Fallout 1 and 2 as well.

Been playing Towns myself, and Planetside 2. I'm still waiting for X:Rebirth to come out, but there is not much info coming out from the developers.
