I got to use a friend's VIVE but didn't want to spend like $2000 on a setup.
I've waited over 20 years for this. I first got to experience VR in 1993 on the W Industries "pods". You wore a similar helmet and chased other players around a series of ramps and stairs, throwing hand grenades at each other. That system was $150k. Now for $800 all in, we get a fairly fully featured VR experience and it's bad ass. Even stacking blocks and doing seemingly mundane tasks is mind blowing. EVE Valkyrie and Battlezone are so far the best. Amazing. Get it.
