775....
So I have been building a lot of Pentium D Socket 775 based Intel machines lately.
The heatsink they designed is a fucking joke....It keeps the CPU cool, but it has these 4 cheesedick plastic posts that snap into four holes by flimsy fins. In our tests that had a real tendency to pop back out during shipping.
I have been replacing them with Zalman heatsinks which aren't cost effective.
Can anyone recommend a budget heatsink that isn't based upon some BS snap-in technology?
Thanks,
Ralf.
