So I just found out I could put a new hard drive and stuff in my ps3. I put a 500gb drive in it.

What other neat stuff can I do with this thing? Anything else interesting?

Gaazy you can connect it to your home network and use it as a media hub to play music and videos from your primary PC.

It's dirt easy. Just download PS3 Media Server. Follow instructions. If you have a wired connection you can transcode HD on the fly. No need to worry about file types anymore.

Another cool thing is you can also play your Recorded TV from a Windows Media Center PC via your PS3. I have 2 Media Center PCs I stream video to since I hate paying for extra cable boxes.
