3 rules in gift giving to women

1. Don't give her anything you have to explain what it is, what it does or what it means.

2. Give her something shiny

3. If you can't afford #2, give her something meaningful. Not something you think is meaningful.

I think it's great you feel this way about her, hon. But, seriously, a gift like that won't touch her heart the way you think it will. Find something that means something to her, not something that means something to you.

Women want a man who is a man. Don't buy into that touchy feely crap about women wanting a sensitive man. It's all a bunch of BS and propaganda.

BTW....don't I count for the age spread? I'm 37. :(
Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.

That's what I tried to tell him with my post but you put it a lot better than I could have.

The last thing he wants is for his girlfriend or friend who is a girl or whatever the fuck she is to get a gift from him that's from his heart and say, "aw, that's cute." Then pat him on the head.

Yup nothing says I love you more to a woman than a vibrator and a AMD64 Bit Processor...christ we are all nerds here.

Seriously dude, that depends on the chick. 70% would take the frame and try to manually fit in to the rectal cavity of the person sending it.

Some girls might cry. But this is from laughter not from a romatic notion.

odd....most of us are married, have gotten some from the opposite sex or are in serious relationships. So what is your definition of romance Don Juan? 'cause obviously it must be different then the general consensus.

I think a gift for a lady should have a long term resonating effect, not just a few moments of jollies. Harrison's idea is something that might get a cute giggle (depending on the girl) but how long is that gift going to last?

Gifts should all have their place in the presentation. The main course (jewelry, coat, bag), then things around it to spice up the presentation (flowers and candy) and of course the appropriate setting (nice night out, fancy place, nice scenery). At least, thats my formula for a good gift. Some may disagree.

I didn't mention it cuz I thought it was a given. Although sometimes I'd rather do without cuz the blood stains my underwear.

Maybe you should try to be the top instead of the bottom all the time. You and your partner should switch each time.
