I'm going to show off my genius gift idea for a girlfriend

Let's throw things at them!

Nope, no car and no desire to pay for something I won't use.

Car coming soon, deposit on my place this week, license to follow the car...

No car, no use for a license, at all.

With my permit I can drive my friends around if they don't feel like driving. It suits my needs perfectly and fully.

Well - it's not like I really expected you to be self-sufficient in this regard. Once a free-loader, always a free-loader.

You know you're a redneck when you have your forklift operating license before you have your driver's license.

Yes, because having a license and no car to support the use of said license is a definite sign of being "self-sufficient".

I've never needed a car, nor did I need the bills it would have brought about at the time.

Now that I have an apartment that is farther from my job, friends, family, etc...I do.

Before? Never...

My guess is some sort of pick up truck or a Ford Mustang.

I have a few options. Likely going to get a pickup truck capable of surviving a snowstorm.

I have a feeling this winter is going to be brutal for N.E.

My friend is 23 and no license. Her sister was 25 until she got hers. Her other sister is pushing 30 and still doesnt have one. She rides DART everywhere. I think her only sister to have a license when she was "supposed" to was the one who moved out when she was 19. Only sibling to move out before they were 23.

Wafflehouse is open 24/7. I went there at like 3am Saturday morning after ditching a blind date and going bar hopping with a friend. I remember their pecan waffles being much better =\

In Hagerstown, MD, it's called the Waffle Ouse. The H is silent because it burned out on the sign.

Actually they own a really upscale local restaurant. It is called *losers apparently can't know this*, and they have some damn good food (albiet expensive ><)

That would be doing them a favor. I'm not in the habit of doing people favors.

Oh my God, we don't have a Waffle House around here but if we did I would be their most loyal patron and give them lots of money for sweet golden waffles 24 hours a day.

Couldn't you say that about any establishment depending on the employees working there?
