I just found out about her tearing the pope's picture in two on SNL...I think it was SNL...anyway, HELL YES.

also: i like to make fun of the pope. however, i don't have any ill will towards the guy. i just think #1 the existence of his position in the first place is kind of silly, and #2 that he's fun to make fun of.

example: he's actually been dead for a few years and he's just been taxidermied and is now a mechanical "popepet" (not puppet HEHE I AM FUNNY) operated by some crazy catholic higher-ups that don't want to go through the hassle of replacing him just yet. ^_^ my best friend (the wannabe priest in the seminary) hates it when i make pope jokes but they're just so much fun.

I don't know what was weirder, her ripping up the picture of the pope or afterwards when she ran crying into the arms of Kris Kristofferson. I saw that on E entertainment and was like..."wait a minute...what?"

On a side note, the song she sung before she ripped up the picture was an incredible cover of Bob Marley's war. It was just her singing with no accompaniment. It was very, very well done.
