What is the point? I am actually, genuinely interested to hear your side of this even though you rely on insults to put emphasis on them. You haven't really put up an argument against me and thats not like you.

Yes, they DO want to share. Why? Because when the league has parity, which translated means that every team has an equal chance to compete, the league as a whole grows in value. By sharing revenue, which allows places like Green Bay to compete, among others, the league as a whole is much stronger. By sharing the revenues and thus growing the league as a whole, the owners make MORE money than they would if no sharing was done whatsoever. Period.

THAT is why they share.

the biggest part of what makes the NFL great is tradition

constantly moving teams around to chase the almighty dollar is the quickest way to turn fans off the game

go to brooklyn and see how many people are still bitter the dodgers left town

bigger markets don't always make better markets

like arlos said, see the green bay packers, or pittsburgh steelers for examples

I understand sharing for parity purposes. But do either of you agree with small-market owners trying to increase the the percentage shared?

eh, it's all owners trying to increase the percentage

right now it's 60% players, 40% owners

the owners would like to see 50/50
