Some nice server capacity going on here. Nothing like having a 109 minute wait to get into a server.

7 Million customers and they can't afford to provide enough capacity for their customers?

I knew it was a mistake buying this game.

Nah, you just happened to try logging on when the servers are having issues. That rarely happens anymore. It was just bad timing.

Having ANY wait getting into a game you pay for is ridiculous.

End of story.

This isn't a problem if you play a game that's a barren wasteland.

Its really pathetic when you take a look at Eve online with their 33000 people on the same server.

Eve's entire server has about as much information running on it as Orgrimmar does.

PS: they're expanding server sizes end of the month

It's alright... there is a lot that is similar to EQ, but by and large it isn't too terribly bad. I need to get used to the graphics... very cartoonish. I still like EQ 2's graphics better... I'll give it a shot... to see how it goes.

I like this game due to the fact that ive been playing it for almost 6 months now and I havent even wanted to raid at all, where during my EQ time i felt as though i HAD to raid.

So I decided to play some WOW tonight.. My server had a 650 queue on it..

No problem, I'll play my Mage alt... 450 queue on that server...

:-x

So I started a new character on Steamwheedle Cartel tonight to screw around.

Things could get ugly in two weeks with BC. I predict chaos and madness and many very fun forum threads!

If I was to go to the WoW forums I would likely hunt some 16 year-old down and piss on his recently dead corpse in a rage, covered in blood.

It used to be 200 spazz-like posters with the sense of "humor" of those faggots on the SA forums. Stupidity does NOT mix with stupidity well.

MMO official forums seem to be gathering grounds for those who feel 'wronged' by their chosen game.

This was true for UO, EQ, DAOC, and now WOW. Why people can't just cancel and leave befuddles me.

Anyway, Blizzard has great creative people, but not the most astute of technical folk, it seems. I predict a rough launch of BC.

WoW launch wasn't very stable either.

There's an old saying in the military - you can always tell when the troops are happy when they're complaining. It's when they get quiet you have to worry.

I don't know that the launch will be bad really. They're not going to get a bunch of new subscribers (well maybe some but it's spread out over 180 servers). The worst part will be fighting for quest spawns when it opens. Do yourselves a favor and entirely skip the first zone to beat the rush.

I'm not worried about the release yet...

I'm still getting used to "Not Enough Rage!" "Not Enough Rage!" "Not Enough Rage!"

What I don't like about my dorf war is that special abilities are tied to your hits on target. Rage is mana-like power that spent on said special abilities... I'd rather have it regen than to have to wait till I'm actually in combat fighting something in order to use the attacks.

Diekan, that will pass.

Charge frontloads you, from there it is easy with sweeping strikes & cleave.

Unless they fixed it =P

It sounds like you might be more interested in playing a rogue then, because thats how their Energy system works.

If you have imp Charge you should have no problem charging -> Sweeping Strikes -> Whirlwind. SS/WW was nerfed a few times a while back though so that now Whirlwind uses your SS charges :( . It's still crazy dps though.
