*this* september...? 50 pounds?

that's super unhealthy, man. losing 10 pounds a week isn't really something you want to shoot for - what the heck are you doing?

I had colitis for years. Amazingly it mostly quit when I quit my job at the library (who would have guessed a library to be that stressful of a job).

I still have occasional bouts when super stressed but they're pretty rare anymore. Anger is a HUGE trigger, btw.

oh, well good - i mean, good that you're not losing that much weight that fast on purpose. bad that you have colitis - I'm sorry :(

how can i get me some of this colitis of which you speak? :P just kidding. sorry you're having health problems, tikk, but i'm glad to hear it's manageable, and that's a heck of a side effect! ;)

It's NOT fun...unless you enjoy shaking and cold sweats and voiding everything in your digestive system extremely rapidly.

It's exhausting, too. You wouldn't think just sitting there would wipe you out like it does.

it's very much like having your period

except the cramps and "flow" last for months at a time

ever wonder why pat is so skinny? he has nonspecific colitis, which is just what it sounds like: colitis for no good reason.

crohns and ulceritive colitis are pretty similar

cept crohns affects entire digestive tract, where colitis is just the large intestine
