Badass, good luck with that. You have a much stronger stomach than I... and you are going to be really popular.

Good luck to you, sir.

I'd suggest avoiding going into any mosh pits between now and when you go. ;)

I doubt having a fresh concussion would make Basic any more fun... heh.

Things like that don't bother me. My only problem is when my emotions get entangled in what I'm doing when people are in pain.

I'm sure training will help with that a lot. No need for me to see someone die and then flip out and get killed too. That doesn't help anyone.

Well, my flight is tomorrow morning. :(

Benning is going to be hell. I wish I was going to Jackson so it could be like a mini-vacation. :dunno:

I've been delayed.

I need to go see a doctor and bring the Chief Medical Officer three waivers. They caught wind of my concussions and need me to be cleared for them.

I'm fucking beyond pissed. Go through the emotional bullshit of saying bye to my girlfriend and get in the car and take off. Then I'm fucking told this.

I'll keep you guys posted. I may only be delayed a few days, maybe a few weeks, maybe a few months :dunno:.

Seriously, I can't explain well enough what it's like to prepare yourself mentally and emotionally to this and then have you batted down until further notice mere hours before you're shipped.

Committing yourself to something so fully and then shot back for a while is painful.

I know exactly how you feel. My wife and I went to MEPS a least 3 times prepared to ship before it finally happened. Each time, they forced me to spend the night at a hotel the night before and use their transportation to get there, Darc made her way to Dallas each morning to see me before leaving and each time I went home with her. It finally was of all days our anniversary that they finally shipped me off.

I know how your girlfriend feels, cant pretend to say I know what you feel. Only thing you can do is enjoy the extra time with her and have her and yourself to possibly be jerked around a few more times before you load the bus.

You sure it was 3 times. Thought it was 4 or 5. Twice with the J-man and twice by myself, one of those times you were reassigned MOS. I dont remember, Ill thread dive here in a minute.

edit:You left on the 8th, we went up there 4 times.

It's good to hear someone understands it besides my brother and my girlfriend. Jack just got home last night and I wanted to dropkick his girlfriend.

"Aren't you glad to be home though to see your girlfriend more?"

:banghead:

Thankfully he explained what it's like to prepare yourself to go and what it would be like to be cockblocked essentially because of dickhead civilian doctor's acting out of spite for having to work Memorial Day weekend.

Damn, how about you think of us for a change. I have to change the date of my "Harrison is leaving NT and if we’re lucky he might be killed by Asians" celebration.

It's emotionally draining to say the least.

By getting hurt to the point of incapacitation where doctors won't sign off on your health?
Or scaring off little kids on Halloween?
I suppose a lesser man would have died had they been subjected to those Herculean tasks.

You have no clue what was going on between the civilian doctors and our doctors at the processing station that day. So why don't you go suck a dick?

The civilian doctors and personnel were being faggots all day.
The Army doctors said I was perfectly fine but it was out of their hands once it got put on paper.

I am perfectly healthy and I would wager a lot more physically fit than you are to boot.
