So Mindia, if your daughter wanted to be in the Navy you'd try to talk her out of it because she has a vagina?

I have a bigger problem with women serving on the ground, where they're a liability, than in a sub.

I mean, unless you can get boarded on a submarine and they can be dragged off to be raped?....

My biggest issue with chicks in the military is that it seems like they get to do boot camp lite from what ive seen and heard. They should get they heads shaved and have to meet the same physical requirements. Other than that its all good if you wanna go fight and die over nothing have at it. Gays girls whoever man they wanna go let em go.

Mindia, do you believe that men cannot control themselves so much that women should not serve in close quarters?

If so, what is your stance on burkas? Should women shield themselves from men lest they tempt a man into damnation?

Hey, you know how some men act around women. It's setting up and enabling a bad scenario. And Burkas? lol If they want to look like 9th century throw-backs, be my guest.

so the men who are trusted with our national security shouldn't be trusted around women because it might set their loins a-tingling? don't we have more faith in our armed services than that??

Your viewpoint is exactly the reasoning behind the religious zealots who require women to wear burkas; because you know how some men can get around women.

There's a night and day difference between conservatism and extremist conservatism.

maybe but are you not aware that "can't trust men around women" is the whole point of the burka?

and can you not see even a modest connection between that and "can't trust men around women on a submarine"?

The Burka is a power control measure Arab men have over their women. It's bullshit. 9th c. throwbacks.

Look up the PFT requirements for females, and then laugh.

The Burka is a power control measure Arab men have over their women. It's bullshit. 9th c. throwbacks.

Which does not change the fact that it reads precisely that the idea of the burka is designed to help men control themselves because they cannot possibly be expected to be in control when women are "flaunting their sexuality" by letting their hair and faces show their beauty, and that men cannot be held responsible for their reactions to said beauty.
AKA: "can't trust men around women"

It may be 9th c. throwback bullshit, but the premise still exists in many forms today, some more subtle than others, and all point to exactly the same thing: Women make men do stupid shit because they are ruled by their penis.
What you stated is exactly the same damned thing.
