Savage offers Gingrich 1 million dollars to drop out of race

Postby Narrock » Tue Dec 13, 2011 8:35 am

http://www.examiner.com/crime-justice-i ... ut-of-race. He's right though... Gingrich will have a hard time beating our Commie-in-chief, although Newt would hand FPb his ass in ANY one on one debate.

maybe he just figured that with gingrich's sordid history of being a complete and utter whore it would simply be cheaper to pay him off to quit now rather than spend a billion to lose vs Obama

even if the repubs HAD a viable candidate, they're too divided against themselves to really put forth a unified push. you've got savage vs newt, breitbart vs beck, the teatards vs the world, etc - plus no one REALLY wants romney to win, he's too flipfloppy and too healthcarey and too nonjesusy and too "throwing around $10,000 like it's nothing"y

There's a candidate that's pro-healthcare and anti-jesus? Sounds pretty good.

Omg. Am you farreal? The Tea Party is who the vast majority of Americans resonate with. I semi agree with you about Newt. He was bangin a chick some 25 years his junior WHILE MARRIED, all the while he was chastising slick willie for HIS sexual sins. LOL? Anyway, Newt said he confessed his sins to God and repented and asked God for forgiveness... So I forgive him for that too. Romney... yeah he's got some things about him that I don't like either, but he'd be better for America then FPb ...exponentially better. The thing to keep in mind is that there's no such thing as "The perfect candidate."

the "vast majority" huh? pass me some of what you're smoking...

as of august the tea party actually has more opponents than it does supporters, and that was just the first week of august - i'd love to see those numbers now that they've raised payroll taxes on working-class families rather than bargaining for a small tax hike on skrillionaires

I'm not smoking anything. Do you know what the TEA party actually represents? First of all, TEA is an acronym for Taxed Enough Already. It"s not just symbolic of the famous Boston harbor incident. The TEA Party is for the working middle class. They are for YOU Alex, yet you continuously chastise them? They broke away from the greed and corruption of the old republican ways and cronie capitalism. Put your brainwashed partisanism at LEAST in neutral for a moment, and reassess your thoughts on the Tea Party.

Yeah, we know what they actually represent, and it isn't what they preach.
Sorry dude, but you're dead wrong here.
The vast majority of the country could give 2 shits about the Teabaggers and their Koch Bros. backed agenda.

Also, Michelle Bachmann the nutcase is their frontrunner. Need I say more? No. No I don't.

once again sir that is how they started. i am not opposed to the ideals that they held at the beginning.

within mere months, they were bought wholesale and transformed into the terrorist wing of the republican party. they are the very model of crony capitalism, and it is their biggest triumph that they have convinced their drones of the opposite.

and i should think it's painfully clear by now that i am non-partisan.

Gingrich winning the nomination would be the best favor for the Dems.

I think that'd be a close third behind Bachmann and Perry.

Your TEA party quote is way off, Brin. Sad to see you quoting DNC talking points.

To be fair, I will give props where props are due, and in the words of this Marine, I wholeheartedly concur.

Open Letter from a Marine Tea Partier to All Occupiers

I would point out that this:
The media loves to paint a picture of OWS vs. TP, “right” vs. “left,” etc. It’s an old tactic called divide and conquer. If we fight amongst ourselves, no one looks at the true criminals at work in society.

couldn't be more spot on.

To reiterate what Alex said, the problem is that the Tea Party is now a bastardized bought out farce of its former self and is doing no one any favors, you included, but that doesn't mean there isn't a far larger sect of the Tea Party that did and still DOES keep to the original idea.

As it was in its inception, there was a whole lot of good ideas there, and most of them tie directly in with the Occupy movement if you look at them side-by-side. There are, of course, some key issues that are disagreed upon (taxation for one, etc.), but on the whole, the original Tea Party is not that far off.

For those who still hold to those original beliefs, you'd best realize you ARE, along with all of us, part of the 99% that Occupy is working to protect.
I know you don't appreciate what they're doing Erik, and I'm sorry if you've been inconvenienced personally, but change and revolution is not without its growing pains and controversies.

We must stand united together. All of us.

No, I am not trying to change your or anyone's mind in any way - just stating my feelings on the matter... which I said I wouldn't, but am again anyway because this is something that is so intrinsically important.

I actually really appreciate your post Triel. I just want to point out that using your logic (which is reasonable btw) about ows, has its "growing pains and controversies"... so does the TEA party.

seriously. take a moment to shut off all media/political influence and think about this one thing alone: do you really think Christ would be schmoozing with rich white men in suits? or would he be out on the streets with the homeless/jobless/hopeless? spoiler alert this is a rhetorical question

According to modern lore he would be with the guys in suits. God helps those who help themselves and he wouldnt bless them with so much if they werent in his favor :)

From about 30 years of life I have learned that the jesus loves money sports and war and hates other countries and queers.

I prefer someone who is intelligent and articulate... Ol GWBoosh f'ed that up for 8 years. Newt, Barry, and Romney can all swing that... I have no fantasies about rich people funded by rich people being interested in me or the middle class...
