I'll be honest, I thought Tricia Macke's comment was funny too. It doesn't make the comment any less ignorant, but funny is funny. I'll bet to some degree even Rachel Maddow thought it was funny. She probably got ribbed about it by a few close friends even. She's probably a literal genius and doesn't need you to be angry on her behalf. You guys need to lighten up.

Tricia Macke got a slap on the wrist from Fox and that's cool. Nothing she said was any more outrageous than anything that O'Reilly or Hannity says tongue in cheek. She was just stupid about it. If Modern Family can air an episode where the gay men make fun of lesbian stereotypes and it's funny, than this shouldn't cause any outrage.

Letting our beliefs run our emotions is what makes us divided. Lefties and righties are both guilty of this. Rachel Maddow hasn't commented on this at all. Why? Because it's entirely unimportant to her.
