And Windows has no glitches and no patches ever, right?

I don't see Wall Street calling to defund Microsoft, however.

Ultimately, they've had the same issue WOW had when it first opened: way more demand than anyone planned for. Took WOW a while to fix it, but they did OK, yes?

Arlos,

I clearly see the message you're trying to make, but couldn't you have picked something better to compare rather than a video game?

WoW is not life threatening....

I am sure I could have come up with other examples, but I picked it as it's something most or all of us are intimately familiar with. It is the *EXACT* same problem, too.

I find it odd that people are using the fact that there was a massive level of demand, that outstripped all predictions, as an argument AGAINST Obamacare. If *NO ONE* had tried to sign up, then yeah, that would be a major point against. But too MANY people trying to sign up? Entirely different kettle of fish.

Also, this stuff isn't life and death at all yet. Even if you sign up today, your coverage doesn't start until January. As long as you sign up by then, you're covered. So, embarrassing as these glitches are, they aren't even remotely life-threatening or even really life-impacting yet. There definitely needs to be some serious post-mortems on all the problems that AREN'T capacity related, certainly, and the issues are problematic, to be sure. But cause to cancel things, or declare it a failure? Not even remotely.

Hope springs eternal.

That or go with the repeating same actions and expecting different results definition of insanity. Your pick.

this one was a favorite of mine:
Meanwhile the $408/mo that you're saving will be paid for by another "lower risk" consumer but it's ok as long as you and your family are taken care of right?

..oh.. except that's how purely private sector insurance works too.. FUCK YOU, OBAMACARE.

My family's health care plan went up $80/mo. as a net impact of obamacare. We didn't have to go with a plan on the exchanges because my wife works for blue shield of California, and blue shield already made the changes internally for their employees, but still... an $80/mo. hike. For what? So we partially pay for underachiever's health care? Fucking socialist retards.

My mother's plan went down $480 a month. She now doesn't need to carry a secondary policy and ALL of her diabetes meds are covered. She was spending close to $1000 a month on meds.

Obamacare, yes!

I have BCBS as well and mine remains unchanged with the ACA policies. Sounds like you're getting fucked by BCBS, not ACA.

Obamacare,yes!

Sounds all fine and dandy, but the devil is in the details. Make sure she takes a look at her new deductibles. Thousands of people across the nation are reporting massive deductible hikes and new caps on certain procedures.

My insurance premiums and deductibles doubled from 2005-2008. Every year, the policy got worse and the rates went up. Was that ACA's fault as well?

Massive deductible hikes, caps on procedures, denying insurance based on preexisting conditions, etc have been going on for DECADES.

Hit the marketplace and find a cheaper plan. In nearly all cases, you'll find better coverage for less money on the marketplace.

Well, I'm sincerely happy that the ACA is actually beneficial to your mother. 90+% of people are getting fucked in the ass by the ACA.
