Explain to me how these 3 people should not be castrated, disemboweled, and drawn and quartered rather than serving LIFE in prison on our dollar?

that is indeed a terrible story, and these two are fucking scum. death would be an easy way out no? life behind bars is the worst punishment imaginable.

i've spent a few nights over the years in holding cells, and lemme tell ya, those few days made me question suicide.

the real question for those two, is why the fuck are they eligible for release after 30 years?

i am in Texas, sadly, when it comes to the death penalty...

the state has murdered people... how horrific. AND, do you imagine the state is overly concerned about that? well... there's still the same system for the death penalty in place....

As for rapists. it is horrendous. and I find myself wanting them mutilated. But. If you imagine that rape has anything to do with a penis, you don't understand rape.

follow that logic you'd have to cut off hands, feet, etc. of every violent criminal, including rapists.

While I don't want to understand rape, I am familiar with a theory that it is a product of anger and asserting of power, and/or transference of the same events from the childhood.

However I find that it would be infinitely more difficult for someone to be a repeated offender in the rape cases if they lacked the essential organ required for the act of rape.

You might have noticed I was never referring to an easy or quick death, and no... I can think of faaar far worse things in terms of punishment that I would love to inflict on these individuals, and since I already have a condo in hell with a one-way ticket bought and paid for, I have no qualms about venting how I'd earn my stay.

Life behind bars is bad, but that doesn't change that both bitches' tubes need cut, burned, and yanked, and the guy needs his balls chopped off (and his penis too... let him pee through a straw)
It's not a matter of letting their genes spread either - it's the fact that NONE OF THEM needs to be around kids EVER again, least of all any that they can conceive themselves.

And yes Tug, there's my problem - they will be eligible for early release.
    Fuck. That.

No, truly how I feel about the situation is that if they're going to get prison time? Tattoo what they did on their foreheads so every single inmate in the place knows exactly what they did. I had a fair number of "friends" in Texas end up in Huntsville, and what happened to them while they were in there was.... ugh... pretty fucking bad.

Sorry Gypsi lol This thread needed a drive-by trolling, but I had also just come upon that article and was beside myself livid and sick. I needed to share my pain ><

There are two types if you go by the Turkish version it is the full removal. Anyway that was the one I was talking about in the previous posts and the one I support in the rape cases

It seems some here are one step away from asking for Sharia Law....

I realize there are bad people out there, doing bad things, many who are despicable. However, I'll let my friend Gandalf explain the rest, in the first minute below:

I get torn on the issue. Half a me says how do you know if theyre really guilty with our crooked ass justice system and shit? But the other half says go for it, for the worst possible offenders, especially pedophiles...they dont deserve castration. And, furthermore, fuck the humane bullshit. If they were willing to take a life and ruin so many connected to one like family and friends...at least do something miserable, like impalement or something, or slow boiling alive

until you can find a means of convicting only the guilty without any doubt (reasonable doubt is not without doubt), that's insane. yes, let's risk boiling innocent people alive. and just hope you never end up in the wrong place at the wrong time and get convicted of something you didn't do. one innocent person executed is too many.

...which is a point you are entirely missing. there is no "no shit" about it. we executed an innocent man in georgia just a couple months ago in a very highly publicized case.. there are several others that go unnoticed. you can't "make sure" they're guilty 100% of the time because convictions are subject to human error. it is impossible, and that is one of the reasons why the death penalty is ridiculous.

what? this isn't about agreeing to disagree. you just said you have to make sure that they are guilty first. there is no disagreeing with the fact that innocent people have been executed. that's not subjective. that is reality. how do you propose this fallibility is remedied before we boil people alive?

The large part of me doesnt care. Someone was tried and found guilty and executed but didnt do it? He still got a trial and obviously something made the jury think he did it or godamn he wouldnt have been convicted. Someone in Georgia getting executed unjustly doesnt affect me one whit. I am not going to lose sleep over it, it wont affect my job or my financial situation, it wont affect my sex drive, or my recovery.
