it's really depressing how chummy everyone at the top is when the cameras aren't rolling

as i've been saying all along, the real war in this age is top vs bottom

the top's biggest weapon is its ability to convince the bottom it's actually a war of left vs right

I'm sure a handful of us (which is all that's left lolol) caught the debate.

It boggles my mind how anyone can witness what occurred and conclude that Trump came out on top.

Yet, in my area at least, I see there are people who do.

i have a running theory on the trumps and people like him who have literally never spent a second of their lives outside of lavish comfort and staggering socioeconomic power: they don't comprehend that regular jackoffs like us also have access to the same internet they do

hear me out

  • when melania got nailed plagiarizing one of michelle's speeches, they just flat out denied it
  • in monday's debate, HRC accused him of claiming that global warming is a hoax perpetrated by the chinese, and his response was "i did not say that, i did not say that, i do not say that" - yet the tweet where he said that exact thing in 2012 hasn't even been deleted. it's still there, if you want to go look it up. it's almost word for word, even.
  • his howard stern interview where he said he supported an iraq invasion is still out there for any idiot with a data plan to look up on his or her smartphone, yet when challenged on this he first flat out denied it and then made some weird argument about how it wasn't REALLY an endorsement of the war [side note: ironic that SHE is grilling HIM for supporting that stupid war...]
  • accusing him of saying nasty things to/about women again prompted a denial, followed quickly by another weird argument where he said "i think everyone can agree they deserved it"
  • she blasted him for saying nasty bodyshaming/racist things to that miss universe contestant in the 90s, and before she could even finish the sentence he became FURIOUS and said "where did you find that, where did you find that" (the next morning he called in to fox news and basically said again exactly what he'd said about her in the 90s lol)
  • he said he never praised putin, when footage of such is readily available
  • he tried to say stop and frisk was NOT found unconstitutional and that it WAS effective
  • he claimed china was fucking with their currency in one specific way when in fact they are doing the exact opposite

to me this all points to one thing: a profound lack of understanding about how the internet works. people like him simply fail to grasp that virtually anything a famous person says or does is not only preserved online forever but easy to find for anyone - ANYONE, not just other rich people - willing to spend a few MINUTES looking. couple that with his completely overbearing alpha-male strongman bully persona, and you've got a unique combination of someone who not only thinks truth and facts exist purely within the present, but that the simple act of saying "i never said that" automatically and indisputably overrules and invalidates any evidence to the contrary.

like, no man. just nope. pretty much anyone in america - or in any other first-world nation (and many developing nations) can get on the internet and immediately tell that you're chock full of shit. fuck you. because internet.

followup post:

even though i deeply dislike HRC, it's plain to see she absolutely eviscerated him on that stage. we even switched over to fox news afterward and they were like yep that was brutal

as for the delusional morons who think he won, well... if they had half a brain between them he wouldn't be the nominee anyway, so their views mean almost nothing

The worst part is that the people supporting him never will look any of that up. They're like kids with their fingers in their ears, stickin their tongues out at reality

holy shit ya'll i mean i knew trump had almost no chance but i don't think we have EVER seen the wheels come off a campaign this badly in the history of the nation

what did they think they were getting, nominating that awful monster of a man? they've been making this bed for the last six years and now it's time for them to fuckin lay in it

clinton is gonna stroll into office with a filibuster-proof senate majority if trump doesn't drop the fuck out NOW and let pence take over (although it may already be too late for even that hahaha)

Someone I know (lawyer living in Texas) has said he's heard from "someone well-connected in Republican circles" that rather than Trump dropping out, it might be Pence dropping out of being the VP on the ticket. I've known the guy for years, so he's not some random anonymous troll on the internet saying this. Not sure how much I buy it, but given how obviously Pence has been angling himself for a 2020 run for president himself, I can see a kernel of truth to the idea. If Pence really does want to make a serious run in 2020, he's sure as shit not going to want the permanent stink of being tied to Trump's hip as he goes down in flames killing his chances 4 years from now.

I'm firmly on the conspiracy bandwagon that somehow the Clintons are backing Trump's campaign and he's basically just trying to lose at this point.

Can't really think of any other way to explain the daily dumpster fires coming from his camp.

I think that's our rational-thinking sides coming out.

We want to believe that the world isn't that sad.

I'm just not so sure anymore after watching the complete garbage this country has shown itself to be this election.

how i would like to see things go:

  • trump loses the electoral vote by approximately 150 points
  • he labels the entire thing a fraud
  • civil uprisings happen in deep red states like mississippi and tennessee
  • trump announces a long-term plan to move all his supporters and followers to texas
  • rest of the country doesn't bat an eye, too busy oppressing white cis-het males lol
  • all the good people flee texas
  • texas announces secession and gears up for war
  • the rest of the country is like YES PLEASE GO, BYE
  • instead of war, we just build a fucking 25ft border wall around texas and enforce a no-fly zone
  • meanwhile puerto rico becomes our 50th state
  • texas eats itself alive because there are no "harmful regulations" and everything is privatized back to feudalism
  • texas civil war rages on
  • trump and his sons are hung from the front of the alamo
  • drought and famine and gun saturation and state corruption turns the independent republic of texas into a war-torn third world nation
  • without all the dead weight, america becomes the greatest social democracy in the world with literacy rates approaching 100%, guaranteed minimum income, free health care and college, zero carbon emissions, and 0% homelessness
  • texans begin illegally migrating to the US to find work picking strawberries and dodging ICE agents, which is stupid because we've fixed immigration and it only takes a few weeks

So disappointed....I came here literally to just see a Narrock gloat post and it's not here yet =(.

Mainly happy Trump won for the petty reason of wanting the first female president to be a truly remarkable woman and not a despicable career politician slimeball.

Tbqh I thought about gloating with a trolltastic gloatatious post, but decided against it when I saw all the Killary supporters feeling devasted... with tears in their eyes (that's EXACTLY how I felt when obummer won in 2008 and 2012), and listening to Trump's gracious victory speech, Killary's most gracious concession speech, and obummer's gracious speech. Oh, and I was actually impressed with Miley Cirus' youtube post.

What I will say is that I can't for the life of me understand how so many Americans don't understand how fucking close they came to losing their 2A rights, how unsafe they, and we all, would have been with all those Syrian refugees coming in, and how they were willing to accept the fact that under Killary, their healthcare premiums would have gone up even higher than what they are under obamacare. Add to that how careless she was as secretary-of-state with classified information, allowing 4 Americans to die mercilessly in Benghazi, and all her and slick willie's ill-gotten gains from their pay-to-play antics. It's an absolute headscratcher how anybody voted for her.

Lastly, I'll say that I hope and pray that Trump sticks to his guns, and doesn't cave to Wall Street enticements, or Establishment bullshit, and continues to give the middle finger to New World Order globalist clowns like George Soros and the Rothschilds family. I hope and pray he stays on course, stays focused, and remains professional and ethical in the oval office.

Trump has promised daily on the campaign trail to fix our national debt problem by enacting fair trade deals, fixing our crumbling infrastructure, lowering our taxes, creating jobs, appointing constitution-respecting justices to SCOTUS, getting rid of common core, assisting our vets, crushing isil on their turf, protecting 2A, and a few other things. He has the potential to achieve greatness. We'll see.
