Old news, this was possible about 6 years ago. Personally I think ANYONE who would do this needs to have their head examined.

Well, for some people, I think it could be night and day towards improving their life. Someone who's had their neck broken, paralyzed in all 4 limbs, can now freely navigate the web and use a computer. Hell, wonder if it would work for someone like Stephen Hawking, to maybe let him communicate better, and have better access to other people's research to help him with his own.

For normal people though, yeah, it's kinda a freaky idea.

Yes, that idea was also the reason The Neuromancer (the book) gave me the willies.
