Yeah, that's a shame. There are several giant warehouses like that around the world. Hundreds of thousands of beat up, moldy, old records.

What you wouldn't have given for the chance to spend 1 day in there, digging for gems?

It would be overwhelming. I've been on similar digs on a smaller scale. There's just so much garbage to get through, you need weeks. Mold, dust, bat and mouse shit, rotting cardboard, etc. It's pretty rough but I did find a few jams.
