The one I cant get the monitor to work? THey guy who was staying with us skipped out (or so it seems) and didn't pay his monthly rent and he still owes me for groceries. ALl in all about $300. I would like to see if I could recover some of that fundage because over half comes directly from me if he doesnt pay it.

His mom gave him the laptop and told him that if he could get it working, it was his, and he told Dean that he could do whatever he wanted to with it. What do ya'll think? It still has all its original cd's and case with it.

Call Sony, see how much it would cost to get fixed and just keep it.

Doubt you'll get $300 for a laptop that doesn't work but if it's a cheap fix, you can sell it for more once it works.

Check and see if it is under warranty. alot of vaio laptops over the last couple years were sent out with 3 year warranties accidentally

Your going to have a real hard time selling a laptop that doesn't work for $300. It could be an easy fix but then again it could be a fix that will cost more then the laptop would be worth. Its a bit of a risk for someone to take if they can actually see the laptop before hand.

most of the electronic shit that sells on ebay as "easy to fix" generally sells for like $50 or less
