It was definitely worth it. There's about 20 hours of game play if you don't "rush" through it. And you'll reach some point where you can't play more than a couple hours a day or you just go nuts.

I love the lost souls. They are so well animated. And they made a good intro. for them.

I hate the trites and cherubs... mostly because there's always a million of them. And god forbid you let them get close enough ...

I just beat it. It wasn't *too* difficult on veteran's mode.... but as I reached the last third of it, I could not play more than an hour at a time without going crazy. The last 2 hours of the game were scariest for me. It was definitely worth the $50. :twisted:

Using the information from the link that Rotj posted, I was able to see a difference.

Before: timedemo demo1 = 48.6 fps
After: timedemo demo1 = 54.9 fps

800x600, ATI Radeon 9500
no AA, no AF. VSYNC off, all bells and whistles enabled.

It was definitely worth the money, my heart is pounding. I just got out of hell and am running around delta labs blowing shit up with the soul cube.

I played a little multiplayer, but it wasn't anything too special. Hopefully there will be some nice mods available soon.

I'm up to the part in Alpha labs where these little spiders are coming out of nowhere and they just drain my ammo. It's really fun so far. I'm on veteran mode. I suppose you have to complete it like that before they give you nightmare.

I just got the game a few hours ago. I played a little bit and right now I'm in alpha 1. I have all the graphics on High setting and it runs smoothly. It does get a little choppy is combat with 4 or more monsters, but I can deal with that.

Does anyone know a way to toggle sprint mode, so I don't ...

Played a wizard to 55 back in the velious era.... was the dullest time in EQ for me. Lead to burnout, took a break for 3 months, came back to play a cleric.... enjoyed being a cleric and playing with others ever since.

Why the hell do people pay a monthly fee for an online game to avoid people and go solo? Go play Mario Bros or something. Pipe level is mario 3 is the best...

Has anyone figured out how to get Gamma to work correctly in windowed mode? It works fine in Full screen mode, but I need to play in windowed mode. Any ideas?
