the whole super team this really does leave a bad taste in my mouth, especially with the fact that it's such an easy fix. Get rid of the individual max, and bam no team could afford more than 1 or 2 superstars (unless they're really willing to take massive pay cuts to play together).
p.s. bulls ...

Re: NBA Finals
why stop at Shawn Bradley, wouldn't it be great if the mavs signed the entire space jam roster?
Deron is pretty broken. I think it's a pretty good move. Local kid comes home, can light it up a few games a year but in general is a shell of what he once was. (boy do I feel like an idiot for thinking ...

Re: NBA Finals
to be honest, you're better off without DJ...
He's a solid player with a good point guard but without paul to feed him lobs, there's no way he puts out similar stats, and the mavs don't have a PG at all (unless you're counting on barea?) The Mavs are better off keeping the salary cap space and ...

Re: Basketball Question for Zan and Snerp
I think the heavy minutes does wear on the players, but I think it's more of a GM issue than just a coach problem.
The bulls really needed to hit on a few of their more recent draft picks. They paid a fair bit to get mcbuckets and he didn't play up to expectations. The team isn't deep enough, and ...

so I might be wrong here but your prosecutors are elected, right?
isn't that the problem? you turn a job into a popularity contest, and the one metric they can be judged on, convictions, becomes the most important thing.
imo make them public servants and a lot of this stuff would go away. I've ...

little bit late getting to the thread but my take on the Benoit thing is that it's more of a tragedy than anything, they were all victims, Benoit included. The guy was suffering from all kinds of brain trauma, from what I've read suffered depression and wasn't in his right mind when he did what he ...

Besides Naggy and Vox, what other zones or named mobs or bosses were there with great loot existed pre-Kunark?
As far as raids went, there was fire giants before naggy, there was phinigel autropos in kedge keep, the planes of hate (maestro and innoruuk), fear (golems, dracolich and cazic) and sky ...

how can that possibly be the best deal they were offered. It's nuts, hell the raps could have easily beaten that offer.
They just traded one of the best players in the league, for... nothing, not even significant cap space

go sens!
and damn there's a lot of physical/dirty play going on in the first round.
I don't like what carkner did, but they did have to do something after Boyle repeatedly punched karlsson last game.

Re: Is Jeremy Lin legit?
amare was dying without a decent PG, so this will do wonders for him but I don't think it'll work that well with carmello. Granted i've only watched a game and a half of Lin play but it does seem like he dominates the ball quite a bit, which doesn't fit in with Carmello's play style. Lin's usage ...

curry is a really nice piece but I get the feeling it's going to take another rather big piece to land Paul.

at the price people are talking, I don't think i would really want a 1 dimensional, injury prone center even though he would be a great fit on the raps.
Cheer up vonk, you still have haywood for another 5 years or so, maybe he won't be so bad after a full season in Dallas under his belt

Well no, I'd follow up but there's a credibility factor. Let's say someone came to you and said Snerp raped someone. You're really telling me that your immediate reaction would be to call the cops, get him suspended, and press them until they showed you evidence that Matt wasn't guilty?
wtf ...
