WTF already

I log into my EQ II account and low and behold my text chat no longer works. I can see chat scrolling along, but I can't chat at all. When I hit any key, enter, a letter, whatever, all I get is a damn green chat bubble that appears for a split second in the bottom right corner.

Wtf?
