Looking for a new home

Postby Jeffey » Sat Nov 27, 2004 2:45 pm

Greetings nameless people. My name is Jeffey and I play a 70 mage on Lanys T'Vyl server.

I simply cannot find my place on Lanys. The reason I first chose Lanys was because my cousin and her boyfriend played on Lanys and they were the ones who got me into EQ, they have both quit in recent months. Two of my RL friends got EQ after I got them into it, but they have both left. The majority if my better EQ friends vanished when I took 3 months off last winter. /who all friend pretty much returns nothing except acquaintances. I've led 4 guilds in my time scaling from casual family to Luclin era raiding, but the desire to EP flag pretty much drew all the members away. So I'm done backpeddling, I'de like to hit some sort of end game (expansion wise) now. My Luclin raid guild never made it to emp Ssra.

Theres only two guilds activley doing EP flags on Lanys at the moment, and I'm not overly fond of either of them. I won't go into the details, but essentially joining either of them isn't really an option. I only have 2/6 trials for KT done atm, but even if I got my KT flag, no Time, Sol Ro, or EP for that matter is the cock block to getting into the GoD guilds. Theres one guild doing VT but they are all closed up.

So now you can see my situation, I have no real close friends left to keep me on Lanys, and no guild prospects to shoot for. I'm looking to move to a server with a good spread of players and guilds working on VT or EP access. Server population isn't an issue as long as the LFG scene for 65-70 can yield a group (i almost always make my own groups) pretty much any time of day except for 'the dead zone' (4-8 am).

If you come to the Nameless, look up Mystic Lords.

actually, 4 - 8 am is not the dead zone. there's three or so asian-based guilds on this server and there's almost always somebody somewhere anytime of the day.
