Exp lose from dying is really hard to swallow when you get used to games like WoW. Especially when you consider how slow exp gain can be.

Our little trio has a pretty easy time in outdoor zones. Find a zone with animals and the druid and myself charms a pet. Necro fears and we let all the pets do the dmg. Almost always near FM and we kill very fast. I'd like to be able to hit some dungeons soon though. CT, Split, Upper Guk (which I've never done). Sol A would be fun to try but there are a lot of caster mobs that really hurt. Bottom line...we need a cleric.

Don't bother with CT unless you do anything other than lizards. They're way too much trouble for the time. LoH and heals through walls and floors, etc.

Gators are animals so that might be a good camp for us. Druid can charm for added exp.

Gators in CT in the Pit are really a bad camp. The spawn time is high, the aggro range is far, and they keep coming and are way too variable in levels.

I went down there to get my Reclaim Energy Broom and was overwhelmed in my mid 40s. At the top it's an ok camp, but the pathing in there is fairly dodgy.

I think in your 20s there is no better place than LOIO and WW, personally. The Giant Fort in WW is great for exp and plat. LOIO is overcamped but there are so many critters it doesnt make any difference, and with the Troopers and other random high levels no Bards really kite there.

To a certain extent I agree, but as long as you aren't doing the Gaazy thing you aren't losing much time. Pre 40 you do not lose a ton. In the 50s it really does suck. However by then one has enough plat to pay the exorbitant costs of, say, having a cleric travel to Permafrost to ress you.

I also can make 10 Dose SOW potions, if anyone needs them. Base cost is right around 70p for 10 dose.

I loved doing CT in live way back in the day. Remember Gators was a hard camp but a rewarding one too. It was a very long time ago though. My standards may gave been skewed. I think we'll probably spoil ourselves with the exp we get fear kiting that when we do get a full group we'll be disapointed.

I generally log before Midnight EST as I get up early for work <6 AM EST> weekdays. Let me know when you'll be on, and I'll hop on. I'll be on at Midnight today. You should start playing again, Harri, if you aren't burnt out. We have a nice mix of ranges and levels now.

Ledd is my Shaman and Colleen is my cleric.

Lol I meant noon EST

I'm usually passed the fuck out by 10pm these days. I am way too tired to game by the time my son goes to sleep and I get done cleaning the hurricane's wake.

I'm tempted to play. It's just odd hours and I doubt there'd be much grouping going on. I can only game from early morning until maybe 10am if I'm lucky some days.

My RL crew abandoned another MMO, so I have a gap to fill in my free time.

I'd consider the teams server, but not Red. No interest in that.

Leveling is what it is. We've all done this before so it's not a rush or a big deal.

Yea im playing live regular Eq. Dordimer the pally and borty the ranger. Hang with tuggan the monk alot too. Lot of the hole for aas and walls of slaughter cuz i want to get an edge for my ranger for shits and giggles. I was never cool or big so ive never seen most of the cool shit on kunark and velious so thats kinda my goal. Its cool seeing places in pop and stuff too. Dont know how big I gotta be to do it but id really like to do the aow at some point. In the other thread reading arlos talk about killin him made me really want to see him live and up close. Really want to see trekanon too at some point.

I was the same way when I came back to live last year and we never saw any of those old school mobs. Even in zones with nothing but no drop items like VP and NTOV people would farm the named constantly. I've heard the pop has plummeted since then though, so you might have a chance.

The best I got was Drussila(SP) from HS. HS became my farm sport.

It's not hard to lvl to a point where anything in Kunark/Velious/Luclin will be trivial/soloable.

Do the Dragons, Dragons, Dragons quest. You'll probably wipe sometime after Phara Dar, but you can sightsee that way.
