Yeah, was pretty cool to play on the PC. You can gain lots of money and exp in the arena if you choose not to finish it off the first time through. Manashield ftw.

I've only played a couple hours on Fable 2 but I think that Fable 1 was vastly more fun.

I loved the original XBox game. My son has Fable II but I haven't checked it out.

oh yeah and almost everyone in the game sounds like they're from Sandford (the setting of Hot Fuzz)

"perhaps you'd enjoy it if you played from the perspective of a 19th century time-traveler." haha.

I bought in on Xbox when it came out. I, personally, got a bit of replay out of it, but just out of boredom. It was when I was in school and had a lot of time on my hands, so I played through 4 or 5 times, doing something different each time. then ran through a couple times using the cheat book or whatever, and getting every super weapon and all that shit in the game.

jorsh just got an xbox 360 with his bday money (i wanted a ps3 for the blu-ray option but it wasn't my bday money so whatevs) and he has purchased two games so far: viva pinata (for me) and fable II (for him). fable II has been a lot of fun to watch, and i think the choices you can make are pretty interesting. it's fun.

viva pinata is good, too, but it's really overwhelming. too many pinatas and too many rules for mating and attracting and feeding and yada. i can't imagine playing it as a little kid. it's fun but frustrating sometimes!

Fable II was AWESOME up until I was ruler of the known universe and was trying to save up 1,000,000 gold to buy the castle. I was doing one of the DLC quests and my Xbox locked up midgame, my save game was corrupt and I lost everything. ARRRGH! I think I had 25hrs played on my character.
