When I try to open the chat room I get this message:

Startup error:java.lang.NumberFormatException:For input string

What do I need to do to make this work properly?

I think the chat is just messed up, I got the same message and opened my debugger and saw nothing client side.

The chat room does not work because I do not have java installed nor do I run IRC servers. I am working on a non IRC chat program.

Install java and connect to an existing IRC server, which is what we did before.
