HP makes a pretty solid product, I doubt you'd go wrong that route. The only issue I take with them (and this is true for quite a few others) is the massive software packages that people tend to install for them. Often times they use about 1/4 the software yet load everything and it's a pretty hefty resource hog.
I also used one of the early Cannon Multipass printers, it was also a good product.
