Information Security Folks

Yeah so I haven't been around for 10,00000 years I know, been busy with a lot of shit. But anyway....I have an evil evil take home final for my Information Security class - last damn class I have before I get my bachelor's this weekend. One would think I could just google the answers, but its not working like that at all.

Any security people willing to help guide me along the right path with some of these stupid questions? I will gladly PM you (don't want to post the test on the boards because I don't feel like getting accused of cheating, I'm not looking for someone to do the test for me, just looking for someone to tell me if I am dead wrong and need to give up and kill myself).
