Bought them in early 2000, put them into a raid0 array, ran them hard, ran them hot, daily access pulling files I was hosting, kept it up for 3 years, and then retired that box.

Just pulled one out of that box today after it had been in storage for however long because I was looking for a HD that wouldn't be a piece of shit like the WD drive that was provided with a machine I am building. Works like a champ and is still silky quiet.
