firefox has been losing my bookmarks lately

I'm not running any kind of funky bookmark sync plugin or anything either

but about 3 times in the last month Firefox has locked up, and upon loading it again, all my bookmarks have been toast

if I do an XP rollback, everything comes back hunky dory, but this is getting pretty fucking old

any ideas? (other than switch back to IE)

I ran into a similar problem with Firefox locking up, but that was after upgrading IE to 7 and Windows misbehaving.

Firefox exports bookmarks as a simple html file. Do an export and keep your bookmarks to avoid the rollbacks. Also, perhaps try a different version of Firefox? Cleanly delete everything from your Mozilla folder so it removes any corrupt files, also.
