I feel weak kneed for spending so much money on a computer case.

New company, 2 years old, American, all cases made in Oregon. Great, personable customer service so far. We'll see how the case itself turns out when I get it :flower:

lol, yeah thats the pic from the site. They have it rigged up with UV sensitive fans and cold cathodes to get it glowing like that. My version wont be as loud hehe. got some blue LED fans, but nothing UV reactive like that. Also bought these black aluminum mesh covers for the front intake holes. Should make it look more subdued I think.

Yeah not gonna be too small. Probably about the size of two mid towers side by side.

Will be nice to work in a case with actual room though. Plus, will have a RAID stripe set and SLi (7800GTX x 2 :eyecrazy: ) configuration in there, so some room will be nice for all the junk going in.

And who knows, if I get the bug to learn about watercooling, will be plenty of room for all that crap too, radiators, pumps, hoses etc.

hehe - I can tell you're totally geeking out. :) Have fun with the new case/system... I don't have the spare capital to invest in that kind of stuff. I'd like to, just to do it, one day. Although, I'll probably not go for the Neon lighting. ;)

Thanks Ugz. Yeah, this is my one chance to geek out completely, so Im just going balls to the wall with it. Should be fun putting this thing together.

Darcler, they make a smaller version of this case, called the Twice7 or something. And if you contact them, they will custom paint their cases whatever color you like. Pink case for you!

That case would be pretty good for the data server I am going to be building pretty soon here.

10x 5.25" bay slots in that case...

You could almost get 5 terrabytes on one system with that @@

Ahh that magical word, terabyte. Cant believe how much storage has grown. Too bad i/o is still slow as hell. Although the first consumer level solid-state drive is coming out soon, the i-RAM drive. Goes in a PCI slot, holds 4 Gigs of RAM, gets power through PCI slot and a backup battery, comp sees it as just another HDD. Big enough to hold the OS and a game or two anyway ^^

That drive would be nuts. I have used an OS that was completely stored in ram, it was amazing. Having an OS and some of the more intensive apps completely within a disk like that would be worth the $$

I will take a couple of http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications ... No=1279562 raided together over a terrabyte in my servers/desktops anyday :)

Our Enterprise customers have usually between 1 and 6 of those in their servers while our lower end standard and gamming customers users have http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications ... atId=139's in their servers if they are smart and really look at what we offer them.

All perform GREAT.

I would be scared to see the price tag on this new box. With what your have put into it so far from what I can see you may as well go with a few of those Fujitsu's and a pair of dual core processors :)

lol, well, there is 'balls to the wall', and then there is 'fucking insane'

As much as Id love to drop $1300 or so on my storage subsystem, it aint happening lol. Besides, in a year Ill probably just buy some sort of solid state solution once they are in the consumer channel for the OS anyway.
