Voltage?

Postby Alphonso » Tue Aug 15, 2006 1:52 am

When I turn my computer on now it says it has low voltage and I have to hit f1 to continue. is this a quick fix by swapping out power supplies or something else?

thanks

i would think it is the cmos battery. I would start there since a cmos battery is only 65cents most places compared to a 50.00 power supply.

Most times batt low is the cmos however some of the new mobos will monitor voltages on the pwr supply.

Try the cmos Battery first. CR2032 is the battery you will most likely need
