PS3 wireless question

Postby Reynaldo » Tue May 22, 2007 7:47 am

I understand the PS3 has built in wireless (can you hard wire it too?).

I'm looking at getting the house set up on a wireless router in preparation for getting a PS3 relatively soon and wondering what the best compatible router would be to go with.

The LinkSys WRT54GL gets great reviews but I was hoping for something a little "fresher" and was looking at the Buffalo line. I'm not sure what dd-wrt firmware is but the reviews on newegg say once you install that, the Buffalo router is a beast.

Any suggestions? The guy from the geek squad in best buy hawked me down in the networking aisle and swore by NetGear, but I've never had much luck with their stuff.

I'm a huge fan of WRT-54Gs running DD-WRT. That is by far the best solution at the best price on the market.

I use a WRT-54G and so far no complaints with the ps3. It started working immediately.
