Joystick question

The Microsoft Sidewinder Pro 2.0 gets raving reviews. However, the OS required to use it is either Windows 98 or Windows 2000. Does anybody know of anybody who has Winows XP and is also using the Sidewinder Pro 2.0? Windows 2000 and XP are extremely similar so I was just wondering if it would still work on XP.
