Flashed BIOS on motherboard... fucked now.

I have an old Biostar board that I put a new chip in. Athlon XP 3000+ which didn't exist when the board was built but the BIOS was updated to support it.

I got windows loaded on it with the old BIOS but it just said "Unknown Processor running at 2.17GHZ" so I thought I'd flash it with the most recent BIOS. Grrrr... now the damn thing won't boot off the hard drive, won't let me reflash the BIOS through the CMOS and won't even boot off a fucking floppy disk so I can run a force flash. It gets to a certain point in the boot and either hangs up and needs to be rebooted or gives me some mispelled variation of "Error loading operating system".

Any clues before I smash this fucking thing and go get another board?
