I think they are certainly a threat, I lost my damn mind on Sunday Giants vs Hawks game.

I had season tickets to the hawks for a few years then I moved and had to give up my uber seat in hawks nest. Very wuwu

Depends on if they can get their pieces together and peak in the playoffs.

Given they probably will have homefield throughout the playoffs, they have as good a shot as any NFC team.

sigh... the seahawks have KICKED ass before all the way up to the playoffs, sweep the first two rounds then fucking get slaughtered. I'm hoping that doesn't happen again.

The hawks need a fucking superbowl dammit!

If that fucking nerd Paul Allen wasn't in charge of the team and maybe undead Ghengis Khan we would have the championship for sure.

Yeah, the Hawks are in the NFC, which is a much weaker conference and they currently have the best record.

Seattle would match up well with Indy, but certainly wouldn't be favored in that game.

Yes, if their receivers dont drop passes in the end zone. They are probably the best team in the NFC right now. They do play the Colts later in the season so if they meet in the superbowl it will be a rematch.

They have really gotten the dropped ball problem in check this year. Yes last year and the year before it killed them but it’s not such an issue this season.

Amazingly, since they cut Koren Robinson, Engram was hurt, and Jackson was out their O played better.

Even more amazingly, Holmgren doesn't start Jurevicius when Jackson and Engram are healthy, despite the fact he's 10 times the WR they are, and doesn't have butterfingers.

Their Recievers have been some of the best in the NFL at possesion recieving this year. D Jack had been great before injuring his knee, so he will take back the main wide receiver spot when he comes back.

I believe Jurevicius should be their 2nd wide, and Engram their third down receiver (thats where he is at his best). The reason Engram has been their second wide reciever is he was more familiar with the offense coming in to the year. I think Jurevicius has a pretty good handle on it, and should see more action at the two spot when Djack returns.

As far as making it to the Super Bowl, i think they could. I do believe they are the best team in the NFC, and i do think they are better than everyone in the AFC aside from Indy. Im not sold on Plummer yet, so i rank Denver third.

As far as the Colts- Seahawks game on christmas eve (i will be there wuwu) I dont think that it will give us a good look at the two teams against eachother. At that time both teams should have homefield advantage wrapped up, and starters will most likely not be playing the entire game.

If any team would match up well against indy, I think the Seahawks have the best chance at knocking them off.

The only reason is because he's white, and therefore slower. Because as everyone knows, the only thing important in a reciever is speed.

That reminds me of Neil O'Donnel comparing Kevin Curtis of the Rams to Ricky Proehl, saying he was a good slow possession WR.

lol, Curtis runs a 4.3 40 and is the fastest guy on the Rams.

The seahawks don't stand a fucking chance. They only beat Dallas and/or New York due to missed field goals. You aren't going anywhere relying on that shit to win.

Best team in the NFC is Dallas. Their 4 losses have come by a *total* of 13 points. They are two missed field goals and a 3 minute breakdown against the redskins from being 10-1. They are finally hitting their stride in the 3-4 as well. A month from now you will all realize its true!

I don't think that the cowboys can run the ball well enough to win a championship

You're also not counting the game against philly that they didn't deserve to win

I don't think the cowboys play strong enough against the pass to win the bowl either

Come on Spliffs........Relying on that shit to win. A win is a win is a win is a win. Doesnt matter how you carve it up.

By your rationale, if the referee's would not have blown 2 calls on the Seahawks (Shocky "touchdown" and Toomer "touchdown") the game would not have been close at all. The Giants would have been blown out.

And if the Seahawks didnt miss a field goal at the end of the game against Redskins, they would be 10-1......better yet, if they didnt get screwed on a call against Jacksonville, and made 1 field goal that was missed....they would be 11-0 and all of the sudden we have 2 unbeaten teams!

Hell we will do this too, if in LAST years game against dallas.....the referee's didnt blow the Meshawn Johnson touchdown (horrible fucking call), the Seahawks would have been 10-6, instead of 9-7 and not play the Rams that beat them in the first round.

There is a reason why teams have the record they have....its not because of luck...its because they beat their opponent....no matter how they did it.

Just as an added bonus, Seattle didnt beat the Cowboys this year because of a missed field goal, it was because Drew Bledsoe never should have thrown that horrible pass that was picked by Babinoux (however the hell you spell his name)

Yeah, but there is winning dramatically, then there is winning by your opponents FG kicker missing 3 Field Goals.

Seattle is a solid team, but not as stout as Indy. They are also avery beatable at home, and it wouldn't surprise me to see them lose in the divisional or champ games.

We'll see how good they are against a depleted Philly team on Monday Night.

Gaurantee you that Quest field in Seattle is on the top 3 of toughest places to play in the NFL. Nobody likes coming up there and playing, the fans make it tough (just ask the Giants) and the Seahawks have always been very good at home. Even in their losing years teams didnt like playing them at home.

A win is a win is a win, when you're looking at the past. If the season ended right now, then that would make a difference. However, all wins are not created equal when trying to predict who will be successful in the future. The seahawks should have lost to Dallas and to New York. In the playoffs, I don't see them being able to beat Chicago, Dallas, New York, or Carolina. They might make it to the NFC championship if their first game comes against the likes of Atlanta or Tampa Bay.

By that rationale then Spliffs......Dallas wouldnt be able to beat Philadelphia then again because they "stole" a win. As for predicting who will win, alot of those wins where they "steal" a win from someone will catapult them throughout the rest of the year. They use it as a stepping stone.

It doesnt matter if a win is by a huge margin or not, bottom line is that you get the W during the regular season to position yourself in the playoffs. As it stands right now Seattle would get homefield advantage no matter how you slice it. Nomatter how many they wouldve, shouldve, couldve lost..............they didnt though. And thats the mark of a great team. Pulling out games that maybe you werent your best in, still figuring out a way to win. Seattle did not play their best game that day at all, there were "off days" by quite afew key people.

If chicago comes into Seattle, I see the Seahawks winning that game. Sure the Bears have a better Defense, but the Seahawks have a solid defense and the #1 rated offense in football. People forget about that fact. With ball control they could beat the Bears, Bucs, Panthers, Falcons, Giants or Dallas at home. 3 of those teams they have already beaten this year at home. Ask me if your team is in the playoffs, and the other team squekes out a victory......does it matter that your team "should" have won? Or that the other team did win because they executed properly.

Bottome line is the Giants didnt execute and they lost. Dallas didnt execute and they lost to the Seahawks, any way you slice it. The road to super bowl 40 is going to go through Seattle, and while any team on the NFC list "could" come into Seattle and win, i dont see it happening.
