49ers are looking flat-out awful today. I mean just wretched. Ugh.

If San Diego loses to the Chargers, does the Norv firing death watch officially begin?

Mcnabb is getting beat down by the Giants tonight.

San Fran looked awful against Seattle.

Pitt really missed Hines Ward, but Arizona outcoached them in that game.

Guess Rex wasn't the problem in Chicago. They looked even worse with Griese and his rubber band arm in there.

Spanos should fire AJ Smith today. He screwed up a playoff calibre team.

I didn't get to see the game, but from the play by play, it seemed like arizona did a really good job of stuffing the run

Arizona had 9 in the box and dared Roethlisberger to beat them. He made one killer throw, and that was pretty much it for their O, until late in the 4th.

I watched the game, it was a fun, physical game. However, Pitt played not to lose versus being aggressive. That usually works for them but today it backfired.

I think it's time to sell the team to someone that can take care of it. It's like the pet owner that leaves their dog tied to a tree on a 2 foot rope with no water or food.

Maybe they can bribe Jimmy Johnson into coming back...

What's scary is Chicago's D with their second and third stringers in the secondary, and without a real QB or RB still can almost win games for them.

Chicago could've gotten Jon Kitna two years ago when nobody wanted him, after his stellar season at Cinci. Or Brady Quinn. or a number of other guys. It won't matter until they get better WRs. Mohammed is washed up and Berrian is completely unreliable.

What a complete bummer for Cadillac Williams. I really hated to see the replays of his injury. It made me wince...

And once again Big Ben's line had him running all over the place.

No they didn't. This is the NFL. Everyone gets pressure. Well, everyone sans the VCR laden Patriots.

You seem to <mistakenly> think Pitt has a bad O Line. This is not the case. Care to compare Roethlisberger's pressure with McNabbs last night, if you watched both games?

The reason Pitt lost last night wasn't due to pressure, it was because their best WR was out and the fact they were outcoached. Roethlisberger had a pretty damn clean jersey for a guy getting a lot of heat.

I have no idea what the hell was going on with Philly last night. I guess Coughlin recognized McNabb is still a bit gimpy and decided to blitzkrieg him. Seems that was a good plan.

That and Tra Thomas is injured. William James was his replacement and could not handle the position. So McNabb spent 3/4 of the game looking at all the pretty stars

Ward is one of the better possession receivers in the league, and is by FAR the best blocking WR in the league
