Manny gone at all-star break?

I really don't see how they could get rid of Manny. His contract is huge and he isn't exactly young anymore. He's demanded trades in the past and nothings happened...and I don't think the fans would be very happy about this either.

Lately he has been half assed, not running out a double play. Trot Nixon was hurt, so thats 1 less outfielder, and he asks for a day off? Gimme a break, this is justl ike Nomar sitting out and then Jeter having a big game with that catch he made diving in the stand.

They should not trade him, no one id take at the plate right now over him, not pujols, not abreu, not andruw jones. Francona, or the captain Varitek need to talk to him and change Mannys care free attitude
