Toronto will suck bad this year and by the time the trading deadline rolls around, Bosh will be gone.

With Veal, Blount and Raef, the Celtics are gonna challenge the Knicks for most overpaid bigs.

San Antonio is going to kill everyone again. How can you improve on a world championship monster? Simple, add talented veterans who don't want anything but rings.

I'm an Orlando fan, go Dwight Howard. I think the magic can squeeze an 8th seed this year, get beat in this first round, and make everyone dream for '07.

Orlando needs to trade Francis before they have a shot at anything but a 1st round exit.

Never been much of a Steve Francis fan. I wish McGrady would have stuck around to see out the development of Howard.

We need a legitimate point guard though, not two point guard posers. (Hill, Francis) We should trade Francis for a first and second rounder in 06. Let Jameer Nelson or Keyon Dooling get some experience, and if we end up a lottery team so be it. 4 draft picks and two being first rounders would go a long way toward the future. Then we would have some cap space next summer as well, and maybe be able to bring in another big rebounder. Boom, Orlando contends for the title in '08.

(yeah, I know - im dreaming, but, whatever!)

How good can the Raptors be when they lose to a club team from Israel?

What I said about Toronto earlier this year and I still agree, FYI.

I'm not unrealistic but the amount of knowledge people on this board know about the Raptors rivals your average ESPN writer.

I disagree. It is a very exciting game. There's just too damn much of it for one thing, and NBA is not half as exciting as NCAA basketball for another.

However I feel a bit shmuckish for badmouthing b-ball in a b-ball thread so I will abstain from doing so in the future.
