I am all for a cap. If they whine about it? Drop the axe on it and give a AAA starter a shot. Let them work in the real world for a bit. I cant see any guy making the money some of these guys make...take a look:

I agree with that but to play devil's advocate should the owners be able to reap shitloads of money thanks to big name players without compensating them? If it gets capped would it chase the players off to Japan?

Japan has a 4 foreign players per team limit. With 12 teams, the max major league baseball would lose is 48 players.
