That right there is an understatement. Fred Taylor has some brilliant talent, but alwas ends of on IR...its so true.

The stat that i still cant believe about Fred Taylor is back in 2004, he rushed for 1400 yards but only had 2 fucking touchdowns....WTF? How are you the primary back in a system...rush for a franchise record, and only score 2 touchdowns /boggle.

See Michael Vick, and TJ Duckett. Talking about 2 games. Warrick will have at least 8 TDs by the end of the year.

Vick will get hurt by game 4 and be out for most of the season. It is true, like the law of gravity.

Thats right...he is playing with washington now. Cant remember who their big back is now......Griffin is the fullback...damn the name escapes me. When i think of a big back on Atlanta all i think of is Duckett for some reason. Wow...need more coffee.

Pittsburgh sucks this year. They have a 1st and goal at one and couldn't punch it in against a suck ass defense. They won't make the playoff this year.

Roethlisberger has not been ready to play all year. He rushed back from the accident, he rushed back from this concussion. I applaude him for trying to play hurt, but man if you are hurting your team that bad, SIT DOWN. Let Batch, backup extrodinaire, help you win. I really question Cowher here. He is a great coach, but in this case he is way to devoted to his starting Q. I deffinatly think that when Healthy Roethlesburger is a better Q than Batch, Hell he won a superbowl last year (fuckers stole it, but eh Yeah im still bitter). But playing less than 100% is just stupid. He is on what? Concussion 2 or 3 this year? He is going to shorten his career if he doesnt get smarter.

Coaching staff and Training staff needs to be held accountable too. Just because someone says they are ready to go, doesnt mean they are.

Any quarterback who gets a concussion should look to Steve Young's career for instruction on how to handle them. Steve was a hall of fame QB in every way, both as a passer and asone of the most dangerous runners from the QB position, ever. Yet compound damage from concussions and rushing back from them too soon killed his career. He was still playing at a really high level when he was forced out. If not for the concussions, he could have played a good 5 more years.

So indeed, concussions are nothing to take lightly, even mild ones.

From someone that has had 5 concussions myself, its not something you should rush back from for sure. Those effects can last for weeks after even a mild concussion, and even though you "feel" like you can play up to your ability, your reaction time and decision making is lowered drastically. Im not a pittsburgh fan at all, i certainly am not a Roethlesberger fan. But he really needs to start thinking long term. He has alot of talent, and could be a great quarterback for years to come. However, i see him only lasting as a starter another 5 years tops unless he starts taking care of himself better.
