Yeah the Ricky deal was a stroke of genius/luck. And also what you get to do when you draft BPA instead of need. Some people thought we were stupid for drafting Deuce after he dropped. Guess not....

But the Ricky nightmare may almost be over for you guys. Ive always been a fan of his, even through all this crap. If he has his shit together your running game will be excellent this year.

yeah, we'll see. he might not even be with use. mueller really dislikes him.

Mueller is on record as saying that he likes Williams both as a player and a human being, but that he doesn't consider him reliable. Given their current stable of running backs, adding Ricky as just another facet, rather than the entire face of the offense, wouldn't seem to be out of character.

The reasons were never made clear as to why Randy Mueller was fired by the Saints. He was awesome, there one day, gone the next. The speculation is that he went over our owner's head and pulled the trigger on the Ricky trade himself. Shrug.
