Losing team championship apparrel

I've always wondered how the printed stuff for the opposing team has never leaked out to the public.

Like you know they must have had Super Bowl Champion hats and shirts printed for the Bears in case they won. Would be fun to get ahold of something like that and sport around a Bears Superbowl XLI champion hat.

They are boxed up, as soon as the game is over they are taken and destroyed.

I too have wondered how someone didnt sneak something out of a box after the game. From my understanding though, they are very heavily gaurded.

I liked the commercial showing the Bears moping around and heading back to Chicago with their tails tucked beneath their legs. It's funny how they even thought to make a commercial like that a couple weeks before the superbowl... it's like they anticipated a loss.

Guarded more closely than the Coca-Cola formula, they move the losing team's gear into a locked room. On Monday morning, the merchandise began a long journey to an impoverished nation, most likely in Africa, where the humanitarian organization World Vision distributes it among villagers, some of whom have never seen a football game much less knew who lost it. Jenkins reported that the NBA also gives its losing T-shirts to foreign charities while MLB opts to destroy its merchandise. . .
