How much did you ebay....playerauction your character for if indeed you sold your char for either EQ or WOW. I never sold a character for either but my bro made a killing and sold his bard on EQ for 1.2k and that was when velious barely came out. Made a fucking killing off that.

I never sold my account, but I recieved a tell once from a guy offering 2.7k for my buddy's account I was playing at the time. I told him about it and he laughed thinking I was joking. A year later I remember telling him, damn man I can't believe you had such loyalty not to take 2.7k! He replied saying wtf? You where serious? Thats worth more than my car!

Had to add the PS, found out from a joke in an EXP group that seems account traders are still alive and well. ( I said something along the lines of WTS Nidob 1k npnp ) and two of the peeps in group sent me a tell.

That said I know some peeps have said toons going for over 1k, seems crazy.

Heh the hilarious thing is that when my bro...(both my bro's actually one had a bard and another had a druid, Lunare,Alaeny) sold their's for 1.2k each and it was like I said when velious barely came out. Most time equipped char's now get only like $400 if that.

I sold Eldred for 2k, when CT was finishing up in Anguish. He was pretty decked out, for the time. It's sad the guy who bought him played him for like 3 months, server moved him and never logged him back in. I was gonna reclaim him but hell I haven't even wanted to log back in since I retired.

like 800 for gyps, but that was 6+ months after I retired and I wasn't even top tier when I retired.. I had heaps of dkp when I quit, I was just one of those people who it was like pulling teeth to get me to take an item over someone else.

I had no intentions of selling her, but christmas was rough that year.. the guy who bought her transferred her to saryrn and took GoD & OoW gear to raid with a guild just starting the elemental planes..>.<

Sold my first 2 EQ accounts. First one I got a chunk for and second one only a few hundred dollars. Sold my SWG character (was one of the first ranger/creature handlers on server) for 700.00 about a year after release. I've kept my bard EQ1, and my WoW accounts though.
